Meet the therapists, Vanessa & Lionel

Vanessa Latouche, LCSW
There's that one go-to friend that people flock to when they need advice or a listening ear. I noticed very early on in my life that that friend was me. This was the catalyst that led me to studying psychology (and later, social work), and "the rest is history", as they say. Many of my clients have commented that our sessions often feel like they're connecting with a friend. In general, whether I'm wearing my therapist "hat" or not, my approach is to try to view situations from multiple angles. I consider myself a problem solver, and I love to help people weigh all of their options so that they can make informed, empowered, decisions. I have come to realize time and time again that clients show up, do the work, and find healing for themselves - and I'm just there to guide the process. I am so incredibly proud of my clients, and I always look forward to meeting new people and walking alongside them. I have worked in mental health since 2010, and in over a decade I have found my sweet spot as a therapist.
When I'm not in session, you can find me dancing and singing (off key) with my two daughters, in a spin class, or binging a show or two!
Lionel Latouche, LCSW
I've always seen myself as a listener and healer, valuing the thoughts and experiences of others while doing what I can to help them grow. Being a therapist is a part of my goal to help folks heal. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Jersey with over twelve years of experience providing psychotherapy to people of all ages and backgrounds. In my years of doing this work, I've helped countless clients work through anxiety, depression, life choices, identity formation and relationship ruts. What really fuels me is helping people navigate through childhood and past experiences, helping them understand why they see the world the way they do. As a Black Male therapist, I am deeply committed to helping black and brown folks navigate through the complexities and discomforts of life as they become the best version of themselves.
Being a therapist isn't my whole life, of course! I am a husband, father to two beautiful daughters, faith leader, music lover and big sports enthusiast (go Steelers)! Oh, and I love chocolate!
